Google Adsense

First what is Google AdSense?

According to the Google AdSense website, this program is free to anybody. On your hub, it lets you sell ads space for other people's ads. You earn money every time someone clicks the ad placed on your hub. By the way, you apply for a Google Adsense account on their website. You must read and understand its Term of Service thoroughly. Read it properly because it is very important, so that you will not make a mistake in the future and that your account will not be banned.

Like A Fruit Tree and Its Fruits

For me I compare a hub page to a fruit tree and Google AdSense ads as its fruits. It's very important to take care properly of the tree so that it's healthy. We have a saying that a good tree produces good fruits while a bad tree produces bad fruits. Yes it's true also for HubPages, if your hub has a good content, good ads will be put on your site by Google AdSense and not just any ads that they chooses but those ads that are relevant to the content of your hub page.

Taking Care of My Fruit Tree

Basic steps that I do:

1.) Visit my tree frequently for inspection.

2.) Water the tree if needed.

3.) Remove unhealthy branches that look either diseased or damaged

4.) Apply some fertilizer.

Taking Care of My Hub Page

This is what I do:

1.) Visit and re-read my hub page on a regular basis.

2.) Edit outdated information and links if needed. Add new tags and keywords.

3.) Put nice pictures for additional information.

4.) Promote my hub to others through emails or social networks like facebook, myspace, etc.

That's it! These we're the things that I do to my hubs. They're pretty simple, do it on your hubs too! If it works on me, it might work on you.
