What Singapore has to Offer Now Days
63
Last month July this year 2011, my wife and I took a vacation. We decided to visit Singapore. We had a couple friends with us on this trip; the couple said to us that part of visiting Singapore is their airport, which is the Changi International Airport. According to our couple friend, Changi airport is necessary to see airport because it is one of the best airport in the world. Moreover, it is true because by the time we land in Singapore, we already had good pictures taken inside the airport. There are orchid, sunflower and fern gardens inside aside from the usual boutique, coffee shops and restaurants.
The first place we visited in Singapore for our first day is their colorful Orchard road, a very busy street where you can shop, wine, dine and take photos too. Here you will find rows of modern shopping centers as well as international hotels, restaurants & bars. After this place, we went to Botanical garden to one of the restaurants inside and had an afternoon tea with our friends. At the Halia restaurant, we tried their high tea buffet and it was good. We completed the day by having our dinner at Mos Burger at Toa Payoh central.
During our second day, we spend the whole day by taking pictures around the city specifically around the Marina bay area. It is around this area where you can see their city hall, Supreme Court, the arts house, parliament house, Asian civilization’s museum, war memorial park and the famous Merlion Park. At the other side of the bay are the Marina bay sands hotel and the Singapore flyer. We ended the night by having dinner at Pizzeria Mozza inside the Marina sands hotel.
For our third day, we visited Sentosa Island where Universal Studious is located. We had a great day inside the theme park with all the rides and good food. We tour the island, visited the underwater world, luge and skyride, ifly Singapore, and ended the night by watching the songs of the sea, which is a laser show, located in front of Beach station.
For our last day in Singapore, we ride the Singapore flyer and visited the skypark of Marina bay sands hotel. Both the flyer and skypark you can see the 360 degrees view of the city of Singapore. After this, we took our flight back home to the Philippines with full of memories and photos in this vacation.
